OverviewWelcome to Credit When Credit is Due, the nation's foremost
financial and credit education program. This course is designed for the adult
consumer who has used credit, or plans to use credit, and wants a better
understanding of the terms, concepts and "rules" of credit use in the United
States. CCCS of Northeastern Iowa makes this course available to you at a cost
of $40.
This twelve-lesson course gives you the following benefits:
- a comprehensive understanding of the "rules" of
credit use
- recognition of the credit education by each of the
credit reporting agencies
- an identity card from the American Center for
Credit Education
- incentives from partners in the credit
community
Each lesson is a self-contained unit, so you can
read and study any lesson you want in any order you want. However, you probably
will benefit the most if you study the lesson in order. Each lesson should take
you about 45 minutes to read and complete the corresponding test. Of course,
the total time needed to complete the program will vary from individual to
individual.
